Underwriting FAQ

Clear answers before you make a funding decision.

Understand what is reviewed, what can affect timing and which costs and terms deserve your attention before you accept an offer.

Approval and terms

Read the offer, not just the headline.

A funding expert can explain the structure, but the written agreement controls. Ask questions until the cost and payment schedule are clear.

How quickly can I receive a decision?

Some applicants may receive a decision the same business day once the requested information is complete. Timing depends on the business, the funding product, document availability and final underwriting review. A fast initial response is not a guarantee of approval or funding.

How soon can approved funding be available?

For an approved request with completed documents, funding may be available as soon as one business day. Bank processing, verification, the selected product and the time documents are completed can affect the actual timeline.

What does underwriting review?

The review can include time in business, revenue and cash flow, recent bank activity, existing obligations, intended use of funds, ownership information and credit history. The information considered varies by funding product and provider.

What documents might I need?

You can begin with basic business and owner information. During review, a funding expert may request recent business bank statements, identification, proof of ownership, accounts receivable information, existing debt details or other documents relevant to the request.

What rates or costs should I expect?

There is no single rate that applies to every business. Pricing varies by product, provider and underwriting. Before accepting, review the payment amount and frequency, term, total cost, fees and any prepayment provisions shown in the final agreement.

Does applying guarantee approval or a specific amount?

No. Applying does not guarantee approval, an amount, a rate, a term or a funding date. All offers are subject to final review and underwriting, and you are not obligated to accept an offer.

Is this a consumer loan?

No. The products discussed on this website are for commercial business purposes, not personal, family or household use. Funding may be provided by third parties, and final terms are determined after underwriting.

What should I compare before accepting an offer?

Compare the amount delivered to the business, payment schedule, payment frequency, total repayment or receivables amount, fees, term or estimated duration, prepayment treatment and any security or personal-guaranty requirements in the agreement.
